Number of Paintings in PEMM

As of November 21, 2025, there are 2,482 Täʾammərä Maryam paintings recorded in the PEMM database.

Of those total paintings, 2,470 display on the all paintings page.

Meanwhile, only 1,902 paintings show on the Canonical Story index page because almost 600 paintings appear in Täʾammərä Maryam that are not attached to the stories (e.g., most of these are paintings of the Madonna and Child that appear at the beginning or end of manuscripts, before or after the stories).
